Job Summary
The Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations at the construction site, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and according to quality standards. The role involves coordinating workers, subcontractors, suppliers, and ensuring compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily site activities.
- Monitor work progress to ensure projects are completed according to schedule.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Inspect work quality and ensure adherence to project specifications and standards.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, architects, and subcontractors.
- Allocate tasks and supervise construction workers and equipment operators.
- Monitor material deliveries, inventory, and equipment usage.
- Identify and resolve on-site issues and delays promptly.
- Maintain daily site reports, attendance records, and progress documentation.
- Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools, machinery, and equipment.
- Report project progress, risks, and incidents to management.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in site supervision or construction management.
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction management software is an advantage.
