Role Summary
The Front-End Sales Executive is responsible for business development, client acquisition, and relationship management by promoting transformer solutions to industrial, commercial, and infrastructure clients, ensuring revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development & Lead Generation
· Identify and develop new business opportunities in target industries
· Generate leads through: Cold calling, Site visits, Networking and referrals
· Build and maintain a strong customer pipeline
2. Client Engagement & Relationship Management
· Meet clients, consultants, EPC’s and contractors to understand requirements
· Develop strong relationships with: Consultants, EPC contractors, End users
· Act as the primary point of contact for customers
3. Exhibitions, Conferences & Networking
· Attend industry exhibitions, technical conferences, and seminars
· Represent the company and promote our products/solutions
· Generate leads and build connections with: Consultants, Industry professionals, Potential clients
· Gather market insights and competitor information
4. Technical Discussion & Solution Selling
· Understand customer requirements and suggest suitable transformer solutions
· Explain technical features: Application suitability
· Coordinate with backend/design team for detailed proposals
5. Quotation & Negotiation
· Follow up with backend team for timely quotation submission
· Present offers to clients and explain technical/commercial aspects
· Handle price negotiations and close orders
6. Order Closure & Revenue Generation
· Convert leads into confirmed orders
· Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets
· Ensure healthy order pipeline and revenue growth
7. Project Coordination
· Coordinate with backend team for: Order processing, Documentation and Delivery timelines
· Keep client updated on project progress
8. Market Intelligence
· Track competitors: Pricing, Product offerings
· Identify market trends and customer needs
· Provide feedback to management for strategy planning
9. Payment & Commercial Follow-Up
· Follow up for: Advance payments, Milestone payments
· Ensure compliance with commercial terms
10. After-Sales Support & Relationship Building
· Ensure customer satisfaction post-delivery
· Handle escalations and coordinate for resolution
· Maintain long-term client relationships for repeat business
Key Skills Required
· Experience in transformer / electrical equipment sales (preferred)
· Strong understanding of electrical basics and transformer applications
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
· Ability to handle client meetings and technical discussions
· Willingness to travel for client visits and site meetings
