Job Title: Hotel Manager
Job Summary
Hotel is seeking an energetic, sales-driven, and hands-on Hotel Manager to lead the property's operations, revenue growth, guest satisfaction, and online presence. The ideal candidate should be capable of increasing occupancy through direct sales, corporate tie-ups, travel agent partnerships, and OTA platforms while ensuring smooth day-to-day hotel operations.
The Hotel Manager will be accountable for the overall profitability, reputation, and performance of the hotel.
## Key Responsibilities
### Sales & Business Development
* Drive room sales and increase hotel occupancy throughout the year.
* Develop and maintain relationships with corporates, travel agents, event organizers, hospitals, educational institutions, and local businesses.
* Generate new business opportunities through direct sales calls and networking.
* Identify opportunities for long-stay guests, group bookings, and corporate contracts.
* Meet and exceed monthly revenue and occupancy targets.
### OTA & Online Revenue Management
* Create, manage, and optimize listings on Booking.com, Agoda, Expedia, MakeMyTrip, Goibibo, Airbnb, Cleartrip, and other OTA platforms.
* Manage room inventory, pricing, and promotions across all channels.
* Improve OTA rankings and visibility through effective content, pricing, and review management.
* Monitor competitor pricing and implement dynamic pricing strategies.
* Respond promptly to guest reviews and maintain high online ratings.
### Hotel Operations Management
* Oversee daily operations of Front Office, Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Guest Services.
* Ensure excellent guest experience and service standards.
* Resolve guest complaints professionally and efficiently.
* Monitor staff performance and conduct regular training sessions.
* Ensure compliance with all safety, hygiene, and statutory requirements.
### Property Maintenance & Upkeep
* Maintain the hotel property in excellent condition.
* Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas.
* Coordinate preventive maintenance and vendor management.
* Ensure cleanliness and operational efficiency at all times.
### Marketing & Brand Promotion
* Create and manage promotional campaigns to increase bookings.
* Design professional sales presentations, brochures, flyers, and marketing materials.
* Prepare attractive PDF proposals for corporate clients and travel partners.
* Support social media, website, and digital marketing initiatives.
* Identify local marketing opportunities to increase hotel visibility.
### Reporting & Administration
* Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly business reports.
* Track occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, OTA performance, and revenue metrics.
* Manage budgets, expenses, and operational costs.
* Maintain accurate records and reports using Microsoft Excel and hotel management software.
## Required Skills
* Strong sales and revenue-generation capabilities.
* Experience handling OTA platforms and channel managers.
* Excellent knowledge of hotel operations.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and PDF creation tools.
* Ability to create professional presentations and business proposals.
* Strong communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.
* Ability to work independently and achieve business targets.
## Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Hotel Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field.
* Minimum 3–5 years of hotel management experience.
* Prior experience in independent hotels or business hotels preferred.
* Experience in sales, OTA management, and revenue management is mandatory.

* Achieve monthly occupancy targets.
