We are seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Accounts Executive with 1–5 years of experience in accounting, finance, taxation, and statutory compliance. The candidate will be responsible for day-to-day accounting activities, maintaining accurate financial records, processing invoices and payments, bank reconciliation, GST-related activities, and supporting the Finance team in preparing financial reports.Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Maintain day-to-day accounting transactions and ensure accurate bookkeeping.
- Prepare and process purchase, sales, expense, and journal vouchers.
- Handle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities.
- Prepare and verify vendor invoices, employee reimbursements, and payment requests.
- Maintain vendor, customer, and general ledger accounts.
- Perform bank reconciliation and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist in preparation and filing of GST returns and related documentation.
- Support compliance related to TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESI, and other statutory requirements, as applicable.
- Prepare and maintain records for invoices, bills, receipts, debit notes, credit notes, and supporting documents.
- Monitor outstanding payments and follow up with customers/vendors when required.
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
- Support preparation of MIS reports, expense reports, cash flow reports, and financial statements.
- Coordinate with auditors, banks, vendors, customers, and internal departments.
- Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial and accounting records.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and statutory requirements.
- Assist the Finance Manager in budgeting, financial analysis, and other accounting-related activities.
- Identify discrepancies and ensure timely correction of accounting entries.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial and business information.
Required Qualifications
- B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) / CA Inter or equivalent qualification.
- 1–5 years of relevant experience in Accounts and Finance.
- Experience in handling day-to-day accounting operations.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Good knowledge of Tally ERP / Tally Prime and accounting software.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel, including formulas, Pivot Tables, and basic reporting.
- Knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
- Understanding of accounting principles and financial documentation.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
- Strong integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in ERP-based accounting systems.
- Experience in handling accounts for an IT, Software, Manufacturing, or Corporate organization.
- Knowledge of payroll-related accounting entries and statutory deductions.
