Position: Utility Maintenance Operator
Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and responsible Utility Maintenance Operator to operate, monitor and maintain utility systems such as Air Compressors, Boilers, Cooling Towers, DG Sets, Water Treatment Plants (RO/Softener), Pumps, Chillers and other plant utility equipment. The candidate will ensure uninterrupted utility supply, perform preventive maintenance and maintain safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Operate and monitor utility equipment including:
- Air Compressors
- Boiler
- Cooling Tower
- Chiller
- DG Set
- Water Treatment Plant (RO/Softener)
- Pumps & Motors
- Perform daily inspection and maintain operating parameters.
- Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of utility equipment.
- Monitor pressure, temperature, water level and energy consumption.
- Identify equipment abnormalities and report major issues to the Maintenance Engineer.
- Maintain utility logbooks, checklists and maintenance records.
- Ensure uninterrupted supply of compressed air, steam, cooling water and power.
- Follow safety procedures, PPE requirements, and company SOPs.
- Coordinate with Production and Maintenance teams during shutdowns and emergencies.
Required Qualifications
- ITI: Fitter / Electrician / Refrigeration & Air Conditioning / Maintenance Mechanic
- OR Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
Experience
- 5-7 years of experience in Utility Operations or Industrial Maintenance.
- Experience in manufacturing industries will be preferred.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of utility equipment operation and maintenance.
- Basic understanding of Mechanical and Electrical systems.
- Preventive Maintenance (PM) knowledge.
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Knowledge of safety practices and Lockout-Tagout (LOTO).
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Skills
- Boiler operation knowledge.
- Experience with Air Compressor and Chiller maintenance.
- Knowledge of RO Plant and Water Treatment systems.
- Basic understanding of PLC/VFD systems.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
