Your Role:
An exciting new opportunity has arisen to join the company as a Technical Sales Specialist within the APAC Commercial Team of BioReliance® Contract Testing Services. Based on a strong understanding of our current and anticipating future customers, market and regulatory needs, the Technical Sales Specialist position is responsible for providing technical and regulatory support to customers in the biologics market in APAC (excluding China). The candidate will serve as an experienced technical expert in CMC biological safety QC testing for a broad range of biologics, including recombinant proteins, vaccines, cell and gene therapies, and other novel biotherapeutics for large pharma and biotechnology companies. For this expert-level technical position, it would be an advantage to have a solid working knowledge of biotechnology, GMP biomanufacturing processes, and a broad range of assay methods.

Minimum requirements:

Educated to Ph.D. level (Life Sciences or a relevant scientific field) or equivalent experience. M.Sc. degree will be considered for applicants with extensive experience in the biopharma/biotechnology field

At least 5 years of relevant experience in biologics manufacturing and/or analytical assay development and applications

Prior experience of working in a R&D, Quality Control, CMC/Regulatory or manufacturing environment of vaccines/biologics

Experience working within a regulated environment and ability to interact effectively with regulatory agencies

Advanced presentation skills and ability to effectively communicate complex technical/scientific topics to customers
-
Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills in English and relevant local languages such Japanese and/or Korean and/or Chinese and/or Hindi language would be an advantage

Strong interpersonal experience with a demonstrated ability to lead and influence teams and individuals

Ability to effectively communicate and build working relationships with internal teams/customers

Willingness to travel in the APAC region on average 30% of the time. Some international travel may also be required
