About the Role
Geekstack is looking for a creative Cinematographer & Video Editor to handle video production and editing for our brand and clients. The ideal candidate should have a strong eye for visuals, storytelling, and social media content.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, shoot, and edit Instagram Reels, YouTube videos, ads, and brand content.
- Operate cameras, gimbals, lighting, and audio equipment.
- Handle framing, composition, lighting, and camera movements.
- Edit videos with music, transitions, subtitles, sound effects, and colour grading.
- Create engaging short-form content for social media.
- Work closely with the content, design, and marketing teams.
- Follow current social media trends and suggest creative video ideas.
- Manage shoots, raw footage, project files, and final deliverables.
- Complete projects within deadlines and handle revisions.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of cinematography and video editing.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro / DaVinci Resolve / After Effects / CapCut.
- Knowledge of colour grading, sound editing, and basic motion graphics.
- Good understanding of Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and digital advertising.
- Creative thinking and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Degree/Diploma in Visual Communication, Film Making, Media, or related field preferred.
- Freshers with a strong portfolio may also apply.
- Portfolio/Showreel is mandatory.
