Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Nurse Trainer to lead and deliver training programs for new and existing nursing staff and frontline healthcare professionals. The trainer will be responsible for conducting classroom and hands-on clinical training, ensuring adherence to patient safety, infection prevention protocols, and quality healthcare standards.
The ideal candidate should be fluent in Telugu, with the ability to read and write the language, and should be flexible to travel between Hyderabad and Vizag for training assignments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver structured nursing training programs (classroom, practical, and simulation-based) for new hires and existing staff.
- Conduct training on nursing procedures, patient assessment, medication administration, wound care, vital signs monitoring, and emergency response protocols.
- Train staff on Infection Prevention & Control (IPC), biomedical waste management, PPE usage, hand hygiene, and patient safety practices.
- Educate nurses on patient communication, documentation standards, ethical practices, and quality care protocols.
- Conduct competency assessments, practical evaluations, and skill validation using standardized checklists.
- Organize refresher training programs and remedial coaching sessions based on performance assessments.
- Update training content in accordance with NABH, NABL, WHO, and Ministry of Health guidelines.
- Maintain training records, attendance sheets, assessment reports, and certification documentation.
- Collaborate with clinical leaders, hospital administrators, and quality teams to identify training needs and close competency gaps.
- Ensure proper maintenance and availability of training equipment, mannequins, consumables, and learning resources.
- Support onboarding and orientation programs for newly recruited nursing staff.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning, patient safety, and clinical excellence.
Qualifications & SkillsEssential
- GNM, B.Sc. Nursing, or M.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institution.
- Valid Nursing Council Registration.
- Minimum 2–5 years of clinical nursing experience.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in training, mentoring, or supervising nursing staff is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of nursing procedures, infection control practices, patient safety standards, and clinical protocols.
- Excellent presentation, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Fluency in English, Hindi, and Telugu.
- Willingness to travel between Hyderabad and Vizag.
Preferred
- Experience in hospital, diagnostic, or primary healthcare settings.
- Exposure to training frontline healthcare workers or community health personnel.
- Familiarity with adult learning principles and modern training methodologies.
- Knowledge of NABH/NABL quality standards.

- Number of nurses successfully trained and certified.
- Competency assessment scores and skill improvement of trainees.
- Improvement in patient care quality and nursing compliance.
- Reduction in clinical errors related to nursing practices.

Work Environment
- Training centers, hospitals, clinics, and field healthcare settings.
- Regular travel to Hyderabad and Vizag for conducting training sessions.
- Flexible working hours may be required depending on training schedules.
