Job Summary
The Kids Gymnastics Instructor is responsible for planning and conducting safe, engaging, and age-appropriate gymnastics sessions for children aged 2 to 10 years. The instructor promotes physical fitness, coordination, balance, flexibility, confidence, and teamwork while ensuring a fun and positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct gymnastics classes according to the curriculum.
- Teach age-appropriate gymnastics skills, including:
- Stretching and warm-up exercises
- Balance and coordination
- Rolling, jumping, climbing, and landing techniques
- Basic tumbling and floor exercises
- Ensure children's safety by following proper spotting techniques and safety guidelines.
- Inspect and maintain gymnastics equipment before each class.
- Encourage children's confidence, discipline, and teamwork.
- Modify activities to suit different age groups and developmental levels.
- Track each child's progress and provide regular feedback to parents and the Centre Head.
- Organize gymnastics demonstrations, sports events, and annual performances.
- Maintain attendance and class records.
- Follow child protection, hygiene, and emergency procedures.
- Collaborate with preschool teachers during integrated physical development activities.
Qualifications
- Certification in Gymnastics Coaching, Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field.
- CPR and First Aid Certification (preferred).
- Experience teaching gymnastics or physical education to young children.
Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of children's physical development.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to motivate and engage young learners.

Experience
- Preferred: 1–3 years of experience teaching gymnastics to children.

- Full-time or Part-time (as per the centre's schedule)
- Availability on weekends for special events, demonstrations, or competitions if required.
