Core Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and maintain key financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
- Bookkeeping & Reconciliation: Process accounts payable/receivable, manage payroll, and reconcile bank statements against general ledgers to prevent discrepancies.
- Compliance & Auditing: Compute taxes, prepare returns, and facilitate statutory audits while adhering to recognized standards like GAAP or IFRS.
- Budgeting & Analysis: Develop financial forecasts, analyze costs, and recommend cost-saving strategies to management.
Key Skills & Qualifications
- Technical Software: Proficiency in enterprise and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, Tally) and advanced functions in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables).
