Job SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented Tender Executive to oversee our end-to-end bidding process. In this role, you will monitor procurement portals, evaluate bid eligibility, and coordinate with internal teams to compile compliant, competitive proposals. Your ultimate goal is to secure lucrative private and public sector contracts while maintaining absolute compliance with submission timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Opportunity Tracking: Monitor online bidding portals (like GeM or regional e-procurement sites) daily to identify relevant business opportunities.
- Document Evaluation: Review complex tender terms, eligibility criteria, project scopes, and financial requirements thoroughly.
- Bid Preparation: Coordinate and compile technical, legal, and financial submission documents tailored to client guidelines.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Gather data, project costings, and certifications from sales, finance, engineering, and legal departments.
- Compliance Management: Verify that all documentation aligns with government rules, commercial formatting, and submission protocols.
- Deadline Enforcement: Manage the tendering timeline precisely to guarantee error-free, punctual package submissions.
- Financial Processing: Coordinate with accounting teams to secure Earnest Money Deposits (EMD) and tender fees.
- Database Maintenance: Maintain structured records of all current, submitted, won, and lost bids for auditing purposes.
- Clarifications & Follow-up: Serve as the point of contact for customer queries and post-submission technical clarifications.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 1 to 4 years of proven experience in bid preparation or procurement.
- Portal Expertise: Strong hands-on familiarity with e-tendering platforms, portal registrations, and digital signature setups.
- Software Competency: High proficiency in MS Office, specifically advanced Microsoft Excel for cost sheets and formulas.
- Core Competencies: Exceptional organizational skills, strict attention to detail, and a calm demeanor under tight deadline pressures.
- Communication: Articulate written and verbal communication skills for cross-departmental coordination.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of standard commercial terms like L1/L2 pricing models, Bank Guarantees, and Performance Security.
- Prior experience handling Chemicals & Lab. Instruments Trading/Reseller industry-specific bids.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹23,000.00 per month
