Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Tool Machine Operator who has hands-on experience operating Milling Machines and Lathe Machines. The candidate will be responsible for machining precision components as per drawings and maintaining high-quality production standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and handle Milling Machines and Lathe Machines efficiently.
- Interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately.
- Set up machines, select appropriate tools, and adjust machine settings.
- Ensure dimensional accuracy using measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and ensure proper machine functioning.
- Maintain production targets while ensuring quality standards.
- Follow safety procedures and company policies at all times.
- Report machine issues or production concerns to the supervisor immediately.
- Maintain cleanliness and discipline in the work area.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or relevant technical qualification.
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in operating Milling and Lathe Machines.
- Good knowledge of machining processes and tools.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
- Basic knowledge of tolerances and quality standards.
- Physically fit and able to work in shifts if required.
- Responsible, disciplined, and team-oriented attitude.
Preferred Skills (Optional):
- Experience in CNC machines will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of preventive machine maintenance.
