Role Overview
Boston Institute of Analytics is hiring Academic Counselor (Trainees) to join the admissions and counseling team. This role involves interacting with prospective students, understanding their academic background and career goals, and guiding them toward suitable training programs.
Selected candidates will undergo a structured 2-month training program covering admissions counseling, program knowledge, and sales fundamentals.
After completing the training period and meeting performance expectations, candidates may transition into a full-time Academic Counselor role. Compensation for the full-time position typically ranges between ₹7 LPA - ₹9 LPA based on performance and role evaluation.

Key Responsibilities
Student Counseling
- Speak with prospective students through phone calls and online inquiries
- Understand their educational background and career goals
- Guide candidates toward suitable training programs
Program Guidance
- Explain course curriculum, training structure, and certification details
- Provide information about schedules, learning outcomes, and career opportunities
Admissions Support
- Assist candidates throughout the application and enrollment process
- Support documentation and admission-related procedures
Follow-Ups
- Maintain regular follow-ups with interested students
- Address questions related to programs, fees, and enrollment steps
CRM Updates
- Maintain accurate records of student inquiries and interactions
- Track follow-ups and admissions progress in the CRM system
A Typical Day in This Role
- Connect with prospective students who have shown interest in programs
- Understand their career goals and recommend suitable courses
- Guide candidates through the admissions process
- Conduct follow-ups with interested applicants
- Update lead status and interaction details in the CRM
Eligibility
- Graduate from any discipline

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Interest in sales, admissions, or student counseling
- Prior experience in sales or customer interaction is an advantage but not mandatory
