Assistant Manager – Inventory & MIS Management
Reporting to GM Replenishment
Work Location: Mumbai ( Andheri East)
5 days working – general shift
Minimum 5 years of experience in Diamonds/ Jewellery merchandising and inventory planning.
This will be for all D2C brands
Job Summary
Drive inventory planning for high-value Diamond and Jewellery categories. Manage data-driven stock allocation, replenishment, forecasting, pricing and reporting to optimize sales, margins and working capital.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate SKU database including metal weights, diamond specifications, stock, WIP and pricing.
- Track inventory movement across manufacturing/WIP, warehouse and stores.
- Monitor ageing stock, low stock alerts and inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain historical sales data for planning and trend analysis.
- Support store-wise assortment planning based on sales trends and customer demand.
- Ensure availability of NOOS (Never-Out-of-Stock) products while minimizing slow/non-moving inventory.
- Plan stock allocation for new launches and collections.
- Analyze sell-through and historical trends to forecast demand.
- Coordinate purchase requests with production and procurement teams.
- Analyze the impact of promotions on margins and sell-through.
- Publish DSR, inventory health reports and planning dashboards.
- Identify dead stock and recommend stock transfers or markdown strategies.
- Support working capital optimization initiatives.
Required Skills
- Strong data analysis and reporting skills.
- Advanced Excel skills including XLOOKUP, VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, SUMIFS, Pivot Tables, formulas & functions and dashboards.
- Experience in data cleaning, automation, reporting, and creating auto-updating dashboards (Power BI preferred).
- Good understanding of inventory planning, replenishment, stock ageing and merchandising processes.
Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Diamonds/Jewellery merchandising/inventory planning.

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
