Job Summary
The Biomedical Technician is responsible for operating therapeutic medical equipment to deliver prescribed treatments, ensuring patient safety, maintaining equipment performance, and supporting clinical staff. The role includes preparing patients for therapy, monitoring treatment sessions, performing routine equipment maintenance, and maintaining accurate treatment records.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate therapeutic medical equipment to administer patient treatments as prescribed by physicians or therapists.
- Prepare patients for treatment and explain procedures when required.
- Monitor patients during treatment sessions and report any abnormal observations to the treating clinician.
- Ensure proper setup, calibration, and safe operation of all treatment equipment before each session.
- Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and basic troubleshooting of biomedical devices.
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and follow infection control protocols.
- Document treatment details, equipment usage, maintenance activities, and patient-related records accurately.
- Coordinate with doctors, physiotherapists, and nursing staff to ensure effective treatment delivery.
- Report equipment malfunctions and arrange repairs or vendor support when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with hospital safety policies and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Biomedical Technology, Electronics, or a related field.
- Experience in operating therapeutic medical equipment is preferred.
- Fresh graduates may be considered for trainee positions.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
