One of our clientele in a leading hand embroidery manufacturer in Mumbai is looking for Junior Merchandiser
We are seeking a dynamic and creative Merchandiser to manage high-end client requirements for hand embroidery and design sampling. You will bridge the gap between design innovation and production, ensuring every swatch and sample meets our luxury standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Sampling & Development: Create fresh design ideas and swatches; prepare khakhas for client approval and oversee material requisition.
- Production Coordination: Lead pre-production meetings; collaborate with Head Beaders and Masters to ensure hand embroidery aligns with client specs.
- Quality Control: Supervise samples at every stage (from pilot run to final shipment) to ensure 100% accuracy in measurements and design.
- Timeline Management: Maintain a strict Time & Action (T&A) calendar; follow up with the factory daily to ensure deadlines are met.
- Reporting: Manage order processing, fabric ordering, and generate weekly MIS reports (production status, fabric inventory, etc.).
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university.
- Experience: 2–5 years in the fashion export industry (specifically embroidery/sampling).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel and a strong eye for fashion trends/patterns.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving ability, and a "dynamic" personality capable of handling high-pressure deadlines.
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
