The Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth for interior design and modular furniture projects by developing business opportunities, managing the sales team, building strong client relationships, and ensuring the successful conversion of leads into projects. The role requires a strong understanding of residential, commercial, and turnkey interior solutions, along with excellent leadership and negotiation skills.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business Development
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve monthly and annual revenue targets.
- Identify and generate new business opportunities through architects, builders, contractors, corporate clients, and direct customers.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients and business partners.
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, and project discussions to understand customer requirements.
- Prepare and negotiate commercial proposals, quotations, and contracts.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify growth opportunities.
Team Management
- Lead, train, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team targets.
- Assign sales territories and monitor daily sales activities.
- Review team performance and provide coaching to improve productivity.
- Conduct regular sales meetings and performance reviews.
Project Coordination
- Coordinate with the design, estimation, production, and installation teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Ensure timely project updates and maintain effective communication with clients throughout the project lifecycle.
- Resolve customer concerns and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Reporting & Administration
- Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports, forecasts, and business development plans.
- Maintain accurate customer records using CRM software.
- Monitor sales pipeline and ensure timely follow-up of all leads.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and sales procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Interior Design, or a related field.
- MBA in Sales or Marketing is preferred.
Experience
- 3–8 years of experience in interior design, modular furniture, construction materials, or building solutions sales.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a managerial or leadership role.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing large-value interior projects.
Required Skills

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
