We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Used Car Evaluator to assess vehicle condition, determine market value, and identify damages accurately. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge of automobiles, excellent inspection skills, and a thorough understanding of used car market trends to support vehicle procurement and pricing decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive inspections of used vehicles, including exterior, interior, mechanical, electrical, and structural components.
- Assess and document vehicle damages, repairs, wear and tear, accident history, and overall condition.
- Determine fair market value and trade-in value of vehicles based on condition, mileage, age, service history, and current market trends.
- Prepare detailed vehicle evaluation reports with photographs and recommendations.
- Identify signs of accident repairs, flood damage, odometer tampering, and other hidden defects.
- Coordinate with service teams to estimate repair and refurbishment costs.
- Provide accurate valuation inputs for vehicle purchasing, exchange, and resale activities.
- Stay updated on used car market prices, competitor offerings, and industry trends.
- Ensure compliance with company evaluation standards and processes.
- Support sales and procurement teams with technical insights and valuation guidance.
Requirements
- Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Automobile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in used car evaluation, vehicle inspection, automotive service, or related roles.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle mechanics, body repairs, paint quality assessment, and automotive systems.
- Ability to identify accident damage, structural repairs, and mechanical issues.
- Familiarity with used car valuation methodologies and market pricing.
Pay: ₹21,100.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
