We are looking for a proactive, organized, and clinically sound Ayurvedic Physician to step into the dual role of Residential Medical Officer (RMO) cum Clinical Administrator. This critical position bridges the gap between top-tier patient care and seamless hospital operations.
As the RMO, you will be the primary medical point of contact for our In-Patient Department (IPD), managing residential patient recovery, emergencies, and Panchakarma execution. As the Clinical Administrator, you will oversee day-to-day clinic operations, manage the therapist team, and ensure smooth administrative workflows.

Key Responsibilities1. Clinical Duties (RMO) — Approx. 60% of Role
- IPD Management: Conduct daily morning and evening clinical rounds for all residential patients, monitoring vitals, tracking recovery progress, and documenting case sheets.
- Therapy Supervision: Ensure flawless execution of prescribed Panchakarma and external therapies (e.g., Abhyanga, Kizhi, Pizhichil), maintaining strict quality and hygiene standards.
- Emergency & Continuity Care: Act as the first line of medical response for residential patients during off-hours, ensuring continuous patient safety and comfort.
- Consultation Support: Assist senior consultants during admissions, perform initial Prakriti analysis, and manage post-discharge patient follow-up roadmaps.
2. Administrative Duties (Clinical Administrator) — Approx. 40% of Role
- Team Leadership: Supervise, schedule, and manage the therapist and nursing staff, ensuring optimal shift coverage and high performance.
- Inventory & Stock Control: Monitor and manage inventory for pharmacy medicines, treatment oils, and clinical consumables to prevent shortages.
- Operational Workflows: Oversee day-to-day IPD admissions, discharge documentation, and cross-department coordination (Front Desk, Pharmacy, and Kitchen/Dietary).
- Quality Assurance: Maintain the hospital’s operational SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), ensuring patient feedback is gathered and resolved promptly.
Qualifications & Skills Required
- Education: BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) from a recognized university. Must hold a valid registration with State or Central Council.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of clinical experience, with a distinct advantage if you have previously worked in an IPD hospital, residential center, or panchakarma wellness resort.
- Administrative Aptitude: Strong organizational skills with an interest or background in healthcare operations, team management, or basic digital dashboard tool coordination.
- Languages: Fluency in Tamil and English is mandatory to communicate effectively with patients, staff, and management.
