Job Description

MSM Unify is looking for a Business Analyst with strong experience in EdTech platforms, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and stakeholder management . The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between business, academic, sales, and technology teams to translate requirements into scalable digital solutions.

Roles & Responsibilities

Business & Requirement Analysis

Collaborate with academic, operations, sales, marketing, and leadership teams to understand business objectives
Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements
Prepare BRDs, FRDs, user stories, use cases, process flows, and wireframes
Translate learner and academic requirements into system and product specifications

Agile & Delivery Support

Work in Agile/Scrum environments as a Business Analyst / Proxy Product Owner
Make and manage epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and sprint backlogs
Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives
Support sprint tracking and delivery governance

Tools & Platforms

Use JIRA for backlog management and sprint tracking
Maintain documentation using Confluence
Coordinate with QA teams for UAT, test cases, and defect management
Work with LMS, SIS, CRM, ERP, Payment Gateways, and Analytics tools

Stakeholder Management

Act as a single point of contact between business and technical teams
Conduct requirement workshops, demos, and solution walkthroughs
Communicate timelines, risks, dependencies, and progress effectively
Ensure alignment between business expectations and technical delivery

EdTech Enablement

Understand EdTech workflows including course lifecycle, content delivery, assessments, certifications, and learner analytics
Support enhancements for online, hybrid learning, and academic operations
Drive continuous improvement of digital learning platforms

Required Skills

Core Skills

Strong business analysis and requirement gathering expertise
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to translate complex requirements into clear documentation
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Tools & Methodologies

Hands-on experience with JIRA & Confluence
Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and SDLC
Experience working with Product Owners, Developers, QA, and Scrum Masters
Knowledge of UML, BPMN, flow diagrams, and wireframes (preferred)

Domain Knowledge (Preferred)

Experience in EdTech / Online Education / Digital Learning
Familiarity with LMS, CRM, SIS, payment systems, and dashboards
Understanding of student lifecycle and compliance processes

Education & Experience

Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
3–7 years of experience as a Business Analyst
EdTech or Product-based experience preferred

Certifications (Good to Have)

Certified Scrum Master (CSM) / SAFe / PMI-PBA
Agile Business Analyst Certification
Product Management or UX certifications
