Mandatory / Preferred Skills:
Primary skills: Knowledge of a programming language (e.g. Java), scripting (e.g., Bash or Python), CI/CD (e.g. Git, Jenkins), and knowledge of container runtimes like Cloud Foundry, Kubernetes, Docker, RedHat Openshift and infrastructure services like RedHat Openstack
Code Quality: Maintain high coding standards by writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve complex technical issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks. Implement effective solutions and preventive measures.
Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and QA engineers, to deliver high-quality solutions.
Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for code, processes, and design decisions.
Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends. Advocate for best practices and continuous improvement within the development team. Strong communication skills. Extensive experience in CI/CD pipelines Excellent logical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Expected Scope of work / Responsibilities:
New feature development or enhancement or change request activities (Requirement analysis, Requirement documentation, Design, Coding, Review, Testing and Release process) Defect Fixing (Defect analysis, route cause identification, Code change, testing, obtaining user confirmation and release process) Support tasks (Ticket analysis, data uploading, performance tuning, job monitoring, any analysis task, Report Generation and etc.,), being available for “On-call” support Functional and technical or solution documentation preparation Execution will either be Agile Process need to be followed as defined by BGSW or BGSW’s Customer Preparation & participation on the project status and review meeting
