Position-Purchase Engineer

Exp- 1-2yrs (Purchase in Manufacturing Industry)

Qualification- BE-Mech/Auto/Indus

Interview Mode-F2F

Notice period- Immediate to 15days

Job details-

Roles and responsibility:

 Assist in processing enquiries, quotations, and purchase orders.

 Support cost estimation, pricing, and negotiation with vendors.

 Prepare comparative statements and analyze quotations.

 Coordinate with vendors from enquiry to delivery stage.

 Assist in handling import/export documentation and formalities.

 Support coordination between suppliers, engineering, quality, and stores.

 Help maintain vendor ratings and records.

 Raise and follow-up on claims for shortages, damages, or discrepancies.

 Work with ERP systems for purchase operations.

 Support sourcing of new suppliers and maintain supplier database.

 Assist in maintaining stock levels through Kanban and other systems.

Education & other required qualification/experience/skills for the job:

 BE-Mechanical/Automobile/Industrial Engineering

 Should be well conversant with various steel grades and equivalent international grades.

 Knowledge of Export-import operations & documentation.

 Previous experience as a Purchase Engineer or a similar role

 Excellent oral and written communication

 Negotiation & Persuasion skills.
