Job Description

We’re looking for a Manual Test Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of our software applications. In this role, you’ll design and execute test cases, identify defects, and work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality releases.

If you have a strong understanding of manual testing and enjoy working in a structured QA environment, this role is a good fit.

Skills

Key Skills

1–7 years of experience in manual testing of web and/or mobile applications.
Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and QA methodologies.
Experience in designing and executing manual test cases.
Experience with functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
Hands-on experience with defect tracking tools such as JIRA or Bugzilla.
Basic knowledge of SQL for database validation.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Experience with API testing using tools such as Postman.
Basic knowledge of automation tools such as Selenium.
Understanding of performance and security testing basics.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to handle client interactions if required.

Roles and Responsibilities

Understand business requirements and functional specifications.
Design and execute manual test cases.
Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
Identify, document, and track defects using bug-tracking tools.
Collaborate with developers to resolve issues and ensure quality standards.
Participate in requirement reviews and provide QA feedback.
Prepare test reports and maintain test documentation and artifacts.
Ensure timely delivery of high-quality releases.
