Job Summary:*
* The Staff Nurse in the Pediatric ICU (PICU) and Neonatal ICU (NICU) is responsible for providing specialized, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care to critically ill infants, newborns, children, and adolescents. The nurse collaborates with pediatricians, neonatologists, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care and safety.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill neonates, infants, and pediatric patients.
* Continuously monitor patients' vital signs and promptly identify changes in clinical condition.
* Administer medications, IV fluids, blood products, and treatments as prescribed.
* Operate and monitor medical equipment such as ventilators, infusion pumps, cardiac monitors, CPAP, and incubators.
* Assist physicians during emergency procedures, intubation, resuscitation, and invasive procedures.
* Maintain accurate nursing documentation and patient records.
* Follow infection prevention and control protocols, including isolation precautions.
* Educate and counsel parents/caregivers regarding the patient's condition, treatment plan, and discharge instructions.
* Ensure proper handling and maintenance of emergency equipment and crash carts.
* Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic patient care.
* Participate in code blue responses and emergency situations.
* Maintain patient safety, confidentiality, and ethical nursing practices.
* Attend departmental meetings, clinical training, and continuing nursing education programs.
**Qualifications:**
* B.Sc. Nursing / GNM with a valid Nursing Council registration.
* Certification in BLS and ACLS/PALS/NALS (preferred).
* Freshers or experienced candidates are welcome (PICU/NICU experience preferred).
**Skills Required:**
* Knowledge of pediatric and neonatal critical care.
* Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
* Ability to handle emergencies calmly and efficiently.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Teamwork and collaboration.
* Compassionate, patient-centered approach. * Ability to work rotational shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
*Preferred Experience:*
* 0–5 years of experience in PICU, NICU, or other critical care units.
* Experience in ventilator management and emergency pediatric/neonatal care is an added advantage.

Pay: ₹23,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
