Overview
The Academic Counsellor guides and supports students in their academic journey by providing advice on course selection, career pathways, and learning strategies. The role involves monitoring student progress, addressing academic challenges, and facilitating communication between students, faculty, and parents. Strong communication, problem-solving, and mentoring skills are essential to help students achieve their academic and career goals.
Responsibilities:
- Guide students in course selection, academic planning, and career pathways.
- Provide counseling to address academic challenges and improve performance.
- Monitor and evaluate student progress, maintaining accurate records.
- Facilitate communication between students, faculty, and parents.
- Organize workshops, orientation, and awareness programs for student development.
- Ensure students are aware of institutional policies, rules, and opportunities.
- Support students and parents in setting academic and career goals.
- Refer students to additional resources or support services when needed.
- Converting leads to admission.
- Conduct Assessment Test to students.
- Leads Follow ups.
- Collaborate with other departments.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Education, or related field
- Proven experience in academic advising, fresher, or related role.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and mentoring skills.
- Ability to guide students in academic planning and career choices.
- Good organizational and record-keeping abilities.
- Knowledge of educational policies, learning methods, and student support systems.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
