Production Head – Interior & Furniture Manufacturing
Location: Kodungallur, Kerala
Experience: Minimum 7Years (Furniture/Interior Manufacturing Preferred)
Qualification: B.Tech / Diploma in Civil, Mechanical, Production, or related field.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage end-to-end production operations for custom furniture and interior projects.
- Plan, schedule, and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly production activities to meet project timelines.
- Coordinate with the Project Head, Design Team, Procurement, Accounts, and Site Supervisors to ensure smooth project execution.
- Allocate manpower, machinery, and materials efficiently to maximize productivity.
- Ensure products are manufactured as per approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Monitor production progress and resolve manufacturing bottlenecks proactively.
- Maintain production schedules, work orders, and daily progress reports.
- Ensure timely procurement and availability of raw materials by coordinating with the purchase team.
- Supervise CNC, cutting, edge banding, assembly, finishing, polishing, packing, and dispatch operations where applicable.
- Conduct regular quality inspections and implement corrective actions when required.
- Lead, mentor, and evaluate supervisors and shop-floor teams to achieve production targets.
- Collaborate with site teams to ensure smooth installation and timely project handover.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in production management within the furniture, modular interiors, woodworking, or manufacturing industry.
- Strong understanding of production planning, factory operations, quality control, and inventory management.
- Experience in handling cross-functional teams and multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to read technical/shop drawings and production documentation.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Pay: From ₹40,000.00 per month
