Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Identity / Authentication Engineer to join our team on a 6-month contract. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in identity and access management (IAM), authentication protocols, authorization frameworks, and secure application integration.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions.
- Integrate applications with authentication and authorization services.
- Implement Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and Identity Federation.
- Configure and manage OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), SAML 2.0, and JWT-based authentication.
- Collaborate with development, security, and infrastructure teams to ensure secure access management.
- Troubleshoot authentication and authorization issues across enterprise applications.
- Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with organizational policies.
- Monitor, optimize, and maintain identity infrastructure.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience in Identity & Access Management (IAM).
- Strong knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), SAML 2.0, JWT, and LDAP/Active Directory.
- Experience with Single Sign-On (SSO) and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
- Hands-on experience with IAM platforms such as Okta, Auth0, Keycloak, Ping Identity, ForgeRock, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), or similar.
- Experience integrating authentication with web and mobile applications.
- Good understanding of security principles and authentication best practices.
- Familiarity with REST APIs and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Identity Governance and Administration (IGA).
- Knowledge of Zero Trust security architecture.
- Relevant IAM or cloud security certifications are a plus.
