Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical SEO Intern to support our digital marketing team in improving website visibility and organic search performance. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of SEO principles and a strong interest in search engine marketing and content optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in conducting keyword research and competitor analysis.
- Support on-page SEO activities including meta tags, headings, internal linking, and content optimization.
- Help in performing website audits and identifying technical SEO issues.
- Assist in off-page SEO activities such as backlink research and outreach.
- Monitor website performance using tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
- Track keyword rankings and prepare weekly/monthly performance reports.
- Coordinate with content and web development teams for SEO implementation.
- Stay updated with search engine algorithm updates and industry trends.
Requirements
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of SEO concepts (on-page, off-page, technical SEO).
- Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs, or SEMrush (preferred).
- Basic knowledge of WordPress or other CMS platforms is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
