Position: Learning & Teaching Education Specialist
This full-time, permanent position supports the Learning & Teaching (L&T) department, reporting to the Head of Learning & Teaching. This position will support the Head of Learning and Teaching with all aspects of the Personal Mastery module, as well as assist with Learning & Teaching and Academic Centre of Excellence (ACE) projects.
Qualifications:
A relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent with experience in the (higher) education space
Duties:

Manage the Personal Mastery module and Learning Coaches and reporting on the progress of each cycle

Progress reports for L&T and ACE (throughput rates etc)
-
Work closely with the L&T Coordinator to ensure the efficient delivery of courses and modules
-
Work closely with the L&T Designer and Developer on new courses and cutting-edge technology and pedagogy in education
-
Design and produce technologically creative presentations
-
Support ACE with curriculum design and development
-
Can facilitate Personal Mastery and ACE courses and any other ad hoc L&T training that may be required
-
Support the Corporate Education department with the implementation/training for the Personal Mastery course and ACE modules
-
Represent Learning & Teaching and ACE for Orientation
-
Micro-learning and credentialing design
-
Support the Head of Learning & Teaching with writing and reviewing policies
-
Assist with the selection and admission of applications for ACE Access
-
Professional development of Regenesys staff as and when required
-
Represent ACE and Personal Mastery at Community Engagement events
-
Assist and advise in Communities of Practice forums at Regenesys
-
Work with identified academically at-risk students to ensure student success
Requirements:

Knowledge of CHE, QCTO, SAQA and higher education landscape
-
Excellent writing skills with attention to detail
-
Able to present to faculty and students in a professional and engaging manner

Understanding assessment methodology and digital learning
-
Ability to analyse student data (throughput rates, pass rates etc)

A strong work ethic and able to work independently to deadlines

Research latest trends in education pedagogy

Well versed in AI and the application of AI in education
