Position Title
Kitchen Equipment Technician / Commercial Kitchen Service Technician
Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Kitchen Equipment Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial kitchen equipment such as combi ovens, speed ovens, dishwashers, ice machines, refrigeration units, and other food service equipment. The technician will provide on-site technical support and ensure equipment operates efficiently at customer locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation and commissioning of commercial kitchen equipment
- Preventive maintenance and breakdown servicing
- Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and electronic faults
- Repair and replacement of defective parts/components
- Handle service calls and customer complaints professionally
- Maintain service reports and documentation
- Coordinate with spare parts and technical support teams
- Ensure compliance with safety and company standards
- Provide basic operational training to customers when required
- Attend emergency service calls as per schedule
Required Skills & Qualifications
- ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, or related field
- Experience in servicing commercial kitchen equipment preferred
- Knowledge of electrical wiring, refrigeration systems, and troubleshooting
- Ability to read technical manuals and wiring diagrams
- Good communication and customer handling skills
- Willingness to travel for site visits and service support
- Basic computer/mobile reporting knowledge
Preferred Experience
- Experience with equipment such as:
- Combi Ovens
- Speed Ovens
- Dishwashers
- Ice Machines
- Refrigeration Equipment
- Experience in hotels, restaurants, hospitals, or commercial kitchens is an advantage
Job Locations
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
