What’s the role?
As an Associate Product Manager at Nek by Jar, you will own the platform and internal systems that power Nek’s day-to-day operations. This includes our internal Order Management / CRM tools and key third-party integrations such as Unicommerce, Shiprocket, Delhivery, and other operational partners.
You will work closely with Engineering, Operations, Customer Support, Data, and external partners to improve these systems, resolve gaps, and support new product initiatives. You will also be expected to build a strong understanding of Nek’s overall architecture, services, integrations, and data flows so that you can evaluate the impact of new features across the platform.
What will be your responsibilities?
- Platform & Internal Tools
- Own Nek’s internal Order Management / CRM platform and other operational tools used by Customer Support and Operations teams.
- Identify product and process gaps and drive improvements that make internal systems more reliable, scalable, and efficient.
- Understand the end-to-end order lifecycle across inventory, payments, logistics, communication, and post-order journeys.
- Integrations & Architecture
- Act as the Product POC for integrations such as Unicommerce, Shiprocket, Delhivery, and other logistics or operational partners.
- Own integration requirements, feature enablement, partner coordination, and issue resolution.
- Develop a working understanding of APIs, services, dependencies, data flows, failure scenarios, and reconciliation across the platform.
- Evaluate and onboard new third-party platforms as business requirements evolve.
- Data & Experimentation
- Use product and operational data to identify problems, validate hypotheses, and prioritise opportunities.
- Analyse funnels, user behaviour, operational metrics, and feature performance using tools such as Amplitude, Mixpanel, SQL, and dashboards.
- Design and analyse A/B tests and product experiments, define success metrics, and recommend whether initiatives should be scaled, iterated, or stopped.
- Execution
- Work cross-functionally with Engineering, Operations, Customer Support, Data, Design, and Business teams to take initiatives from problem identification to launch.
- Translate business and operational problems into clear product requirements and scalable solutions.
- Monitor outcomes after launch and drive subsequent improvements.
What’s required from you?
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Math, Statistics, or a related discipline from a reputed institute.
- 1–3 years of experience in Product, Growth, Product Analytics, or a similar role in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
- Strong analytical skills and hands-on familiarity with tools such as Amplitude, Mixpanel, Clevertap, SQL, or similar platforms.
- Good understanding of A/B testing, funnels, metrics, and data-driven product decision-making.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to prioritise effectively and work across multiple teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in e-commerce, marketplaces, D2C, or order/logistics-heavy products is preferred.
