What you will be doing?
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Compliance Manager to join our team in India. The Compliance Manager will be responsible for ensuring that our organization operates in accordance with all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies. This role involves developing, implementing, and maintaining compliance programs, as well as conducting audits and assessments to identify areas of risk and non-compliance. The Compliance Manager will also collaborate with various departments to provide guidance on compliance-related matters and to develop strategies for mitigating risk.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain compliance programs and policies to ensure adherence to all relevant laws, regulations, and internal standards.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas of risk and non-compliance, and develop strategies for addressing any issues that arise.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide guidance on compliance-related matters and to develop effective strategies for mitigating risk.
- Stay up-to-date on changes to relevant laws and regulations, and ensure that our organization remains in compliance with all applicable requirements.
- Preparation of training decks for employees on compliance-related topics and regulatory requirements.
- Investigate and respond to reports of non-compliance or unethical behavior, and take appropriate action to address any violations.
- Maintain records and documentation related to compliance activities, including audit reports, training materials, and corrective action plans.
- Liaise with external auditors, regulators, and other stakeholders as needed to demonstrate compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor and report on compliance metrics and key performance indicators to senior management and other stakeholders • Any other work delegated by CCO.
Apply if you have…
- CS/LLB/Certified compliance professional
- 3-5 years of experience in compliance, audit, risk management, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of relevant laws and regulations, particularly those related to NBFC.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify and mitigate compliance risks.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with colleagues at all levels of the organization.
