We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Manager - Special Accounts to lead our team responsible for managing a portfolio of complex, high-risk, or distressed accounts. The successful candidate will be instrumental in developing and executing strategies for account resolution, recovery, and restructuring, while ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies. This role requires strong leadership, exceptional negotiation skills, and a deep understanding of financial analysis and risk management.
- Oversee and manage a portfolio of special accounts, including delinquent, high-risk, or restructured accounts, to minimize losses and maximize recovery.
- Develop, implement, and monitor effective strategies for account resolution, including debt recovery, restructuring, and settlement negotiations.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Special Accounts Officers, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to ensure high productivity and adherence to best practices.
- Conduct thorough financial analysis and risk assessments of special accounts to determine appropriate courses of action and potential outcomes.
- Engage in direct negotiations with clients, legal counsel, and other stakeholders to achieve mutually beneficial resolutions while protecting the company's interests.
- Ensure strict adherence to all internal policies, procedures, and relevant regulatory frameworks, including consumer protection laws and debt collection regulations.
- Prepare and present detailed reports on portfolio performance, recovery rates, and risk exposure to senior management.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with legal, credit, sales, and operations teams to streamline processes and improve overall account management efficiency.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of special accounts management operations.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes impacting special accounts and risk management.
