Job Description:
We are looking for a passionate and skilled Teacher Trainer who will be responsible for strengthening the teaching capabilities of ICT Teachers/Instruction Specialists and supporting the implementation of high-quality Computer Science education programs in government and affordable private schools.
The ideal candidate should have strong training skills, classroom experience, creative problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to improving student learning outcomes through technology-based education.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Teacher Training & Capacity Building
- Conduct training sessions and workshops for teachers as per program requirements.
- Build teachers’ capacity through continuous mentoring and on-ground support.
- Assess training needs, prepare training plans, and develop training resources.
- Share effective teaching methodologies and classroom practices with schools.
- Support curriculum development and improvement initiatives.
- Participate in professional development activities, learning circles, and educational workshops.
2. Program Delivery & Implementation
- Ensure effective implementation of Computer Science and ICT curriculum across assigned schools.
- Conduct classroom teaching sessions and provide academic support to students.
- Create lesson plans and monthly learning goals aligned with Pi Jam’s curriculum.
- Monitor student progress through assessments, projects, quizzes, and activities.
- Collect, analyze, and maintain program-related data and reports.
- Submit timely monitoring, training, and performance reports to the Program Team.
3. School & Stakeholder Management
- Build strong relationships with school authorities, teachers, and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Program Managers to improve teaching quality and program impact.
- Provide feedback and support to teachers for better instructional delivery.
4. Events & Student Engagement Activities
- Coordinate with schools to organize student showcases and annual events.
- Conduct hackathons, quizzes, workshops, and experiential learning activities.
- Support program events and operational activities.
5. Additional Responsibilities
- Support curriculum testing, research activities, impact analysis, and program improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to organizational growth through innovative ideas and teamwork.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a recognized university.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in teaching, training, or working with children/students.
- Experience in ICT, STEM, Computer Science, or technology-based education preferred.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to train, mentor, and motivate teachers.
- Good analytical, creative, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with teams.
Pay: ₹10,459.64 - ₹43,607.97 per month
