FlowDesk Technologies is a Coimbatore-based technology company operating at the intersection of AI-driven automation, cloud engineering, and financial technology. We design and build production systems across four areas: AI-based automation services, workflow design and management, cloud consulting, and SEBI-compliant algorithmic trading infrastructure. Our flagship product, AlgoTrades, is an algorithmic trading signal marketplace and execution platform serving SEBI-registered Research Analysts and retail subscribers in India.
We are a small, high-ownership engineering team. You will work directly on systems that go into production and are used by real customers — not on throwaway prototypes.
The Role
We are looking for a mid-level Full-Stack Python Developer to help build and scale products across FlowDesk's portfolio. You will move between backend services, data pipelines, third-party API integrations, and customer-facing interfaces depending on what the business needs. This is a broad role suited to someone who enjoys owning features end-to-end rather than staying in a narrow lane.
What You'll Do
- Design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs in Python for FlowDesk's automation, workflow, and trading products.
- Integrate third-party APIs and external data sources — broker APIs, market data feeds, messaging platforms, and cloud provider services.
- Build and maintain data pipelines for ingestion, processing, and storage of structured and time-series data.
- Develop and maintain front-end interfaces for internal tools and customer-facing dashboards.
- Deploy, monitor, and operate services on cloud infrastructure with an eye toward reliability and cost.
- Write clean, well-tested, maintainable code and participate in code reviews.
- Collaborate on architecture and technical decisions across the product portfolio.
Required Skills & Experience
- 3–6 years of professional software development experience, with strong hands-on Python.
- Solid experience building REST APIs with a modern Python framework (FastAPI, Django, or Flask).
- Strong SQL and relational database experience (PostgreSQL or similar); comfortable with schema design and query optimization.
- Practical experience integrating and consuming third-party APIs.
- Front-end development experience — HTML/CSS/JavaScript and at least one modern framework (React preferred).
- Comfortable working with Git, containerization (Docker), and CI/CD workflows.
- Experience deploying and operating applications on a major cloud platform (AWS preferred).
- Strong debugging skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-moving environment.
Nice to Have
- Exposure to fintech, trading systems, or the Indian capital markets ecosystem (NSE/BSE/MCX, broker APIs such as Zerodha Kite Connect).
- Experience with time-series data, backtesting, or quantitative workflows.
- Familiarity with asynchronous Python (asyncio) and event-driven systems.
- Experience with messaging/streaming systems or protocols (e.g., Telegram/MTProto, Kafka, WebSockets).
- Exposure to AI/LLM integration, automation frameworks, or workflow orchestration tools.
- Understanding of regulatory or compliance-sensitive software environments.
Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
