Job Purpose
The Plumber Trainer will be responsible for delivering theoretical and practical training to candidates in plumbing installation, maintenance, repair, water supply systems, sanitary fittings, drainage systems, and construction-related plumbing work. The trainer will ensure that trainees develop industry-relevant practical skills and are prepared for employment and skill assessments.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct classroom and practical plumbing training as per the approved curriculum.
- Provide hands-on demonstrations of plumbing installation and maintenance activities.
- Train candidates in water supply, drainage, sanitation, and piping systems.
- Demonstrate installation of PVC, CPVC, UPVC, GI and other commonly used pipes and fittings.
- Train candidates in pipe cutting, threading, joining, bending, alignment, and installation.
- Provide practical training on taps, valves, sanitary fittings, wash basins, toilets, sinks, and related fixtures.
- Train candidates in leakage detection, repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Teach basic plumbing drawings, measurements, calculations, and material estimation.
- Train candidates in proper use of plumbing tools, equipment, and testing instruments.
- Demonstrate testing of pipelines for leakage, pressure, and proper flow.
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety procedures and proper use of PPE.
- Conduct practical demonstrations, tests, assessments, and skill evaluations.
- Maintain trainee attendance, assessment records, practical logs, and MIS reports.
- Maintain plumbing tools, equipment, consumables, and practical training facilities.
- Identify trainees' learning gaps and provide additional practical training.
- Support trainees in developing workplace discipline, communication, and employability skills.
- Coordinate with the Project Manager/Centre Head regarding trainee performance and training progress.
- Participate in inspections, assessments, audits, and monitoring visits.

Educational Qualification
- ITI in Plumber/Plumbing or relevant construction trade.
- Diploma/certification in Plumbing, Civil Construction, or a related field will be an advantage.
- Relevant industry-recognized skill certification is preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 2–3 years of relevant industry experience in plumbing/construction plumbing.
- Prior experience as a Plumber Trainer/Instructor will be preferred.
- Experience in government, CSR, PMKVY, DDU-GKY, or other skill-development projects will be an added advantage.

- Ability to conduct effective practical demonstrations.

- Ability to explain technical concepts in simple language.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing and construction safety.
- Basic computer and MIS/reporting skills.
- Good documentation and record-maintenance skills
Pay: ₹25,000.00 per month
