Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Workshop / Bodyshop Branch Manager to lead the complete operations of the workshop and bodyshop at our Mahoba branch. The candidate will be responsible for achieving service targets, ensuring customer satisfaction, managing manpower, maintaining workshop hygiene, and implementing company policies and standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage overall operations of Workshop and Bodyshop.
- Achieve monthly targets of labor sales, parts sales, bodyshop sales, and profitability.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and timely resolution of customer complaints.
- Monitor workshop productivity, efficiency, and vehicle turnaround time (TAT).
- Supervise Service Advisors, Technicians, Bodyshop Advisors, Denters, Painters, and support staff.
- Ensure implementation of all dealership SOPs and company guidelines.
- Maintain workshop hygiene, safety standards, and 5S practices.
- Monitor insurance claim processing and coordinate with insurance companies.
- Analyze daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports and take corrective actions.
- Conduct regular team meetings and training sessions to improve team performance.
- Ensure proper inventory control and coordination with Spare Parts department.
- Handle escalated customer cases and ensure prompt resolution.
- Maintain discipline and ensure adherence to HR and company policies.
- Coordinate with Sales, CRM, Insurance, and Accounts departments for smooth operations.
Eligibility Criteria
- Graduate / Diploma in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering preferred.
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in Workshop or Bodyshop operations.
- At least 2–3 years of experience in team handling and branch management.
- Experience in automobile dealerships is mandatory.
- Strong leadership, communication, and customer handling skills.
- Knowledge of workshop KPIs, insurance claims, bodyshop operations, and MIS reporting.
- Computer proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and dealership management systems.
- Must possess a valid 4-wheeler driving licence.
