Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and organized individual to join our Human Resources team as an HR Assistant. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting all aspects of the employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to payroll and employee relations. You will have the opportunity to work closely with HR professionals, managers, and employees to ensure a positive and productive work environment.
Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support to the HR department, including tasks such as:
- Processing paperwork (e.g., new hire onboarding documents, leave requests)
- Maintaining employee records and databases
- Scheduling meetings and appointments
- Responding to employee inquiries and resolving issues
- Assist with recruitment and onboarding, including:
- Posting job openings on internal and external platforms
- Screening resumes and conducting initial interviews
- Coordinating onboarding logistics and paperwork
- Support payroll processes, including:
- Collecting timecards and processing payroll data
- Preparing and distributing paychecks
- Assisting with employee benefits administration
- Maintain confidentiality of all employee information
- Stay up-to-date on relevant HR policies and procedures
- Attend HR meetings and training sessions
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Detail-oriented and highly accurate
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
