AI Strategist (Intern)

Role: AI Strategist (Intern) Location: [Remote / Hybrid — Hyderabad] (set as applicable) Type: Internship — strong potential to convert to full-time based on performance.
About the role You'll figure out where AI actually creates value across different industries — and then prove it. For each industry we target, you'll research how companies operate, pinpoint the workflows where AI can eliminate manual work, cut errors, and drive efficiency, and design the solution. Then you'll build a working demo to bring that idea to life. This is a strategy-first role for someone who thinks sharply about AI and can roll up their sleeves to prototype — your work goes straight into real client conversations.
What you'll do
- Research industries and map their core workflows to find the highest-impact opportunities for AI
- Identify where companies are falling behind and where AI can make a real difference
- Design AI solution concepts — what to build, for which problem, and the impact it creates
- Build working demos/prototypes of those ideas using AI tools and APIs (light hands-on building — we value the thinking most)
- Translate complex AI capabilities into clear, compelling stories for non-technical business audiences
- Iterate quickly based on feedback and help shape how we pitch AI to clients
What we're looking for (must-have)
- A genuinely AI-savvy thinker — you use AI tools regularly and have a strong grasp of how modern AI works (LLMs, prompting, what's possible and what isn't)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving instincts — you can look at how a business works and spot where AI fits
- Able to turn an idea into a working prototype with AI tools (you don't need to be a hardcore engineer — resourceful + fast-learning matters more than deep coding)
- Excellent communication — you can explain AI clearly to people who aren't technical
- Self-driven and curious — you teach yourself new tools and figure things out
Nice to have
- Examples of AI projects, experiments, or prototypes you've built or designed (matters more to us than grades)
- Background in business, data, engineering, or a mix
- Familiarity with AI APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic/Claude, others), no-code tools, or basic web prototyping
- Interest in consulting, strategy, or startups
