Responsibilities and Duties
The responsibility is to teach specially abled children in Kusumagiri Mental Health Centre Kakkanad.
Special Educator plays a vital role in supporting children with developmental, behavioural, learning, and emotional challenges. The Special Educator aims to maximize each child's learning potential, independence, social participation, and quality of life through individualized educational and behavioural interventions within a multidisciplinary care framework.
The primary responsibilities include; Assessment and Identification, Individualized Education Planning, Remedial and Special Education Services, Behaviour Management, Collaboration with Multidisciplinary Team, Development of Educational Resources.
Qualifications and Skills
B.Ed in Special Education or D.Ed in Special Education.
Preferred 0-2 year experience in the field of special education
