- Site Supervision: Direct daily field operations, manage large sub-contractor teams, and assign daily work targets.
- Blueprint Reading: Translate structural drawings, rebar detailing, and architectural plans into on-site action.
- Quality Control: Inspect structural work, check alignments, and ensure compliance with building codes and design tolerances.
- Safety Enforcement: Lead safety briefings (toolbox talks) and ensure OSHA or local industrial safety standards are met.
- Resource Management: Track material usage, manage heavy machinery/cranes deployment, and minimize project delays
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: 15+ years in structural construction, civil engineering works, or heavy industrial sites.
- Education: Diploma in Civil Engineering or ITI in a relevant trade with extensive practical field experience.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of concrete pours, formwork systems (Mivan/Conventional), and steel erection.
