Primary Responsibilities
The Salesforce Developer will be responsible for various aspects of a global Salesforce instance. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, take part in the build, deploy, and support of all processes across the Salesforce.com technology suite across the client environment. This position requires knowledge of the client’s platform, development processes and implementing global IT applications. The applicant will need to collaborate with onsite and offsite teams to ensure proper delivery of solutions. An understanding of marketing and sales processes is expected of the applicant. The Salesforce developer will understand the complexity of our systems, how to integrate salesforce into client’s systems, and help with deployment activities. The developer will be responsible for participating in daily scrum calls, leveraging knowledge of Salesforce components to solve complex technical problems, develop new functionality, troubleshoot issues, and ensure fast performance of the Salesforce.com website.
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 3 years of development and/or functional experience on the Salesforce Platform in a private, public, government or military environment.
- In-depth understanding of the capabilities and limitations of the Salesforce platform is required.
- Strong technical foundation: advanced structured programming (APEX, Force.com, .Net, Java), relational database concepts and structures, structured system analysis and design methods, etc.
- Understands web services and other technologies that can be used to transport data in an enterprise environment and interact with Salesforce.
- Certified Salesforce Developer and Advanced Developer is preferred.
