Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Fresher Dentist to join our dental team. The candidate will assist in diagnosing and treating patients, provide preventive dental care, and ensure excellent patient experiences while adhering to clinical protocols and ethical practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct oral examinations and assess patients' dental health.
- Diagnose common dental conditions under the guidance of senior dentists.
- Perform routine dental procedures such as:
- Dental fillings
- Scaling and polishing
- Tooth extractions (simple cases)
- Preventive and restorative treatments
- Assist senior dentists during advanced procedures, including root canal treatments, crowns, implants, and cosmetic dental procedures.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive dental care.
- Maintain accurate patient records, treatment plans, and clinical documentation.
- Ensure proper sterilization and infection control protocols are followed.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in treatment areas.
- Take and interpret dental radiographs (X-rays) when required.
- Coordinate with dental assistants and front office staff for smooth patient management.
- Participate in clinical meetings, training programs, and continuing education activities.
- Handle dental emergencies appropriately and escalate complex cases to senior consultants when necessary.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from a recognized institution.
- Valid registration with the State Dental Council.
- Freshers are welcome to apply.
- Internship completion certificate is mandatory.
Working Hours
- As per hospital/clinic policies and duty roster.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, if required.
Salary
- Salary shall be commensurate with qualifications, skills, and performance during the probation period.
