Job Summary
As a Lead Sales Associate, you will be the driving force behind delivering exceptional customer experiences and boosting sales performance within our retail environment. Duties
- Provide expert product demonstrations and upselling to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales
- Supervise daily store operations, including stocking shelves, merchandising displays, and ensuring product availability
- Assist customers with retail sales transactions using POS (Point of Sale) systems, handling cash register operations accurately
- Lead and motivate team members to deliver top-tier customer service, including phone etiquette and effective communication skills
- Manage cash handling procedures, including cash drawer balancing and retail math calculations for transactions
- Conduct retail store product knowledge sessions and ensure team members are well-informed about merchandise features
- Support inventory management by stocking shelves, organizing products, and conducting stock counts as needed
Qualifications
- Proven supervising experience in a retail or grocery store environment with strong leadership skills
- Demonstrated ability to operate POS systems, handle cash register operations, and perform retail math accurately
- Excellent communication skills, including bilingual abilities preferred to serve diverse customer bases
- Experience with product demos, upselling techniques, and merchandising strategies
- Knowledge of retail sales transactions, cashiering procedures, and cash handling best practices
- Familiarity with grocery store operations or retail sales environments is a plus
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to handle phone etiquette professionally and courteously
