Job description
Enterprise Promotion and Ecosystem Building
- Build new tools and processes, specifically those that assist women's institutions in building entrepreneurial ecosystems
- Support the co-creation of new prototypes that enable shaping of the ecosystem at the district level and build convergence with existing infrastructure, including local women's institutions.
- Design and implement ways to address barriers to enterprise development, especially by women entrepreneurs, such as increased access to finance through banks and micro-finance institutions, challenges with the municipal interface of the beneficiaries, government schemes and sustainability issues faced by resource organisations/ SHGs/ CBOs/ NGOs/ CLFs, others.
- To build local ownership of the enterprise-energy-ecosystem with key stakeholders such as CLFs, SHGs engaged from selected clusters through community events, listening, co-creation and prototyping activities.
- Co-creating opportunities, business plans, and new enterprise models with aspiring entrepreneurs to improve access to technology and resources.
- Execute social innovation-based participatory approaches and methodologies that generate interest and activate prolonged stakeholder engagement. This could include community building, reflection and review, supporting innovations and implementation of systemic prototypes and the creation of content to capture knowledge and assist learning.
- Detail out engagement approaches that would be suitable for listening activities such as FGDs, community sensitisation, and engagement.
Module Development and Capacity Building
- Assist the team in developing capacity building programs, modules and materials on community engagement.
- Assess and document existing capacity gaps of government agencies, NGOs and development practitioners.
- Assist the team in conducting capacity building workshops for the above-mentioned organisations.
Project and Operations Management
- Design program delivery mechanisms and support communication to the client.
- Communication and coordination with partners and other cross-functional units for ensuring smooth delivery of project deliverables.
- Lead engagement with key stakeholders, in particular project partners such as implementation organisations, government agencies & departments, women's institutions and organisations, etc.
- Field visits to the programme geography for implementation, co-creation, pilot and narrative building based on ground realities and shifts
Budget Management and Tracking
- Prepare and maintain project budgets, including projections and revisions
- Track expenditure against budget lines on a monthly basis
- Flag variances and support corrective financial planning
- Coordinate with finance and admin teams to ensure the timely processing of invoices and payments
Partner and Internal Teams Coordination
- Coordinate with implementation partners for planning, execution, and reporting
- Conduct regular review meetings with partners to track performance
- Align program activities with cross-functional teams (Knowledge and learning, operations, Enterprise Support Service teams, etc.)
- Support the resolution of operational issues across partners and teams
Evidence Building & Insights
- Collect good practices and insights from various stakeholders in the programme.
- Ensure data quality, completeness, and consistency across sources
- Analyze field data to highlight success stories and lessons from women entrepreneurship initiatives.
- Compile weekly, monthly and quarterly insight reports for SEG internal sharing and decision-making.
- Develop case studies, briefs, and internal knowledge products
- Maintain organized repositories of program documents and reports
Proposal Development & Resource Mobilisation
- Contribute to proposal development, including data analysis and content inputs
- Support preparation of presentations, concept notes, and reports
- Compile evidence and insights from ongoing programs for external use
Field Engagement
- Conduct regular field visits to ensure quality implementation and validate data
- Engage with field teams, entrepreneurs, and local stakeholders
- Identify ground-level challenges, opportunities, and feed insights into program design
Administration
- Maintain documentation for the programme, including MIS updates and compliance records.
- Assist in team scheduling, logistics for field activities, and administrative reporting.
