Visual Arts Teacher
Role:
To teach Visual Arts for Primary and Lower Secondary students (Grades 1–8) in line with the international curriculum, fostering creativity, artistic skills, critical thinking, and visual expression through engaging and age-appropriate learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Visual Art lessons aligned with the International curriculum.
- Guide students in drawing, painting, sculpture, crafts, and design activities.
- Encourage creativity, originality, and individual artistic expression.
- Assess student work, provide constructive feedback, and maintain academic records.
- Organise art exhibitions, displays, and creative school events.
- Maintain art materials, studios, and ensure safety standards are followed.
- Collaborate with academic and pastoral teams to support student development.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and achievements.
Qualifications & Experience
- Graduate/Postgraduate Degree or Diploma in Fine Arts, Visual Arts, or a related field.
- Teaching experience in Cambridge, IB, CBSE, or ICSE curriculum schools preferred.
- Strong artistic, classroom management, and lesson-planning skills.
