We are looking for an experienced WordPress Developer to manage, maintain, and develop our WordPress websites. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with WordPress development, WordPress security, website maintenance, and performance optimization.
The candidate will be responsible for managing our existing WordPress websites, developing multiple static websites, maintaining and updating our blog platforms, and ensuring all websites remain secure, reliable, and up to date.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage, maintain, and update multiple WordPress websites.
- Develop and maintain static WordPress websites based on business requirements.
- Manage and maintain WordPress blogs, including publishing, formatting, updating, and organizing content.
- Implement and maintain WordPress security best practices.
- Monitor websites for security issues, vulnerabilities, malware, unauthorized access, and suspicious activity.
- Keep WordPress core, themes, plugins, and other components updated and secure.
- Troubleshoot and resolve WordPress errors, technical issues, and website downtime.
- Perform regular website backups and assist with website recovery when required.
- Optimize websites for speed, performance, and reliability.
- Manage WordPress themes, plugins, widgets, and configurations.
- Ensure websites are mobile-friendly, responsive, and function properly across major browsers and devices.
- Implement basic SEO-friendly website structures and ensure proper technical configurations.
- Manage website users, permissions, and access controls securely.
- Identify and fix broken links, technical issues, and website functionality problems.
- Work with the marketing and content teams to publish and update website and blog content.
- Create new pages and landing pages as required.
- Maintain proper website documentation and ensure changes are tracked and organized.
Experience & Qualifications
- 4+ years of hands-on WordPress development experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of WordPress CMS, themes, plugins, and website administration.
- Good understanding of WordPress security, vulnerabilities, malware prevention, and security best practices.
- Experience developing and managing multiple WordPress/static websites.
- Strong experience managing and maintaining WordPress blogs.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript is an asset.
- Experience with website backups, migrations, troubleshooting, and recovery.
- Good understanding of website performance optimization.
- Familiarity with SEO-friendly WordPress development is an asset.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple websites and tasks simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining secure, stable, and professional websites.
Pay: ₹11,225.50 - ₹32,000.00 per month
