Key Responsibilities
- Process Design & Engineering
- Design STP and ETP systems based on influent characteristics and discharge norms.
- Perform hydraulic and process calculations.
- Prepare Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
- Develop Mass Balance and Hydraulic Calculations.
- Select appropriate treatment technologies (ASP, MBBR, SBR, MBR, etc.).
- Technical Documentation
- Prepare Detailed Project Reports (DPRs).
- Develop technical specifications for equipment and instruments.
- Prepare BOQ (Bill of Quantities).
- Support tender documentation and technical bid evaluations.
- Equipment & Vendor Coordination
- Size and select pumps, blowers, diffusers, clarifiers, filters, dosing systems, etc.
- Coordinate with procurement and vendors for technical clarifications.
- Review vendor drawings and approve technical submissions.
- Compliance & Standards
- Ensure designs comply with environmental norms prescribed by local Pollution Control Boards.
- Ensure adherence to CPCB / SPCB discharge standards.
- Incorporate sustainability and energy-efficient solutions in design.
- Project Support
- Provide technical support during installation and commissioning.
- Conduct site visits and troubleshoot design-related issues.
- Coordinate with civil, electrical, and instrumentation teams.
