Role Purpose
The Manager – Public Health Policy & Stakeholder Management will support IHW Council’s mission to advance equitable, evidence-based public health policy through research, stakeholder engagement, and policy dialogue. The role involves close coordination with government entities, industry and ecosystem stakeholders, development of policy research and documentation, and support for public health–focused forums, consultations, and leadership engagements.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and engage with government ministries, state health departments, regulators, and public health institutions.
- Track, analyse, and interpret public health policies, programmes, and regulatory developments at national and state levels.
- Conduct public health policy research and support drafting of policy briefs, white papers, consultation responses, and position papers.
- Develop agendas, concept notes, background papers, and discussion frameworks for public health–focused stakeholder meetings, conferences, and summits.
- Support planning and execution of policy dialogues, leadership forums, and multi-stakeholder engagements led by IHW Council.
- Engage, coordinate and acquire as speakers/experts industry, academia, public health experts, civil society organisations, and other ecosystem partners.
- Draft and review public health–related content including reports, issue briefs, knowledge papers, and thought leadership articles.
- Conduct literature reviews, data analysis, and policy benchmarking to support evidence-based outputs.
- Maintain structured stakeholder databases and manage ongoing engagement and follow-ups.
- Work closely with internal teams to align policy research, engagement priorities, and communication outputs.
- Ensure all activities and outputs adhere to ethical standards, transparency norms, and IHW Council’s institutional positioning.
Qualification & Experience
- Postgraduate degree in Public Health, Health Policy, Public Policy, Health Economics, Social Sciences, or a related discipline.
- 3–7 years of relevant experience in public health policy, policy research, government affairs, stakeholder engagement, or related roles within think tanks, policy institutions, consulting firms, industry associations, NGOs, or multilateral organisations.
- Demonstrated understanding of India’s public health system, health programmes, and policy environment.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
