Role Overview - We are hiring a Sales Manager to drive business growth for our cosmetics division. You will sell formulation services and partnership opportunities from our network of Cosmetics Formulators and Cosmetics R&D partners to brands, manufacturers, and suppliers across India.
Key Responsibilities
- B2B Sales & Client Acquisition: Identify and onboard cosmetic brands, contract manufacturers, and suppliers for formulation projects and event partnerships.
- Technical Sales: Present capabilities of our Cosmetics Formulators and Cosmetics R&D partners. Translate Cosmetics Research insights into client solutions for skincare, haircare, and personal care
- Event & Exhibition Sales: Promote and sell participation, sponsorships, and delegate passes for Future Market Events' cosmetics-focused trade shows and conferences.
- Relationship Management: Build long-term relationships with brand owners, R&D heads, and procurement teams
- Project Coordination: Work with the Cosmetics Research team and clients to scope projects, share samples, and close formulation deals.
- Market Development: Track trends in the South India cosmetics market and build a strong pipeline in Chennai and across Tamil Nadu
- Targets: Achieve monthly/quarterly revenue targets for formulation services and event sales
Key Requirements
- 5+ Years of B2B sales experience in Cosmetics, FMCG, Chemicals, or Events industry
- Prior experience selling formulation services, raw materials, or lab services is preferred
- Good understanding of Cosmetics R&D process and product development cycle
- Strong network in cosmetic brands, manufacturers, or distributors in Chennai/Tamil Nadu is a plus
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skillsWilling to travel for client meetings and events
Pay: ₹13,513.19 - ₹57,275.33 per month
